Course objectives

The main objective of this module is to provide students with the knowledge to learn the basic principles and the preclinical and clinical applications in neuroscience of a series of imaging technologies including those using ionizing radiations (PET/SPECT/CT), non-ionizing radiation (optical techniques), and ultrasound (US and PAI).

Oggetto:

Results of learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students should be able to choose the most suitable imaging technology, among those covered in the module, to diagnose or monitor a therapeutic treatment of pathologies affecting the nervous system.
