Research topics
Annalisa Buffo ha maturato competenze e collaborazioni nell’ambito delle strategie per la riparazione dei danni cerebrali, interessandosi sia di rigenerazione assonale che di neurogenesi nel cervello adulto. Inoltre, ha avviato con la Prof.ssa Magdalena Goetz di Monaco di Baviera un filone di ricerca che guarda alla glia e ai progenitori presenti nel parenchima cerebrale come strumento di plasticità del sistema nervoso e di fonte endogena per la rigenerazione di oligodendrociti e neuroni.
